My rain gauge is one of the dogs’ food dishes, which has four inch sides and was filled to overflowing yesterday.
It’s not a precise instrument, but I figure if a 452 cubic inch dog dish (with vertical sides) fills to overflowing, it’s time to start prepping the boat.
