Hotel Window – Mt. Laurel, NJ

I’m thinking about stealing an idea from Tam and renaming the blog “View From The Hotel Room Window”. iCal says I’ve spent 458 nights in hotels over the last two years. Fortunately this year hasn’t been as intensive as 2007 was. I’m home every weekend, and most weeks I’m NOT traveling.

This is the view yesterday of the hotel parking lot in Mt. Laurel, NJ, across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Isn’t it nice?

If you have to visit Philadelphia, (no one sane goes there by choice) I recommend staying in a hotel on the Jersey side of the river. It’s a quick trip over a $3 toll bridge and you’re in the historic part of Philly and if you avoid Camden your chances of getting shot are much lower in South Jersey than in Philadelphia.
