Now that the Supreme Court of The United States has said that the 2nd Amendment means what we always thought it means, don’t everyone get excited and do something stupid to mess it up.
Step back, take a breath, relax and smile.
It’s a great day, but the fight isn’t over and the “other side” won’t roll over and give up. The SCOTUS opinion leaves a lot of wiggle room, and other than an outright ban, there’s plenty of room for pernicious laws out there.
But I gotta tell you, my mouth is starting to hurt from the big stupid grin I’m wearing now.
UPDATE: The 5-4 thing has me scratching my head. That and Justice Stevens apparently not understanding that the entire PURPOSE of the Constitution was to limit what the federal government could do. That just scares the crap out of me.
