Anathem – Kindle vs Dead Tree Edition

I started reading Anathem in the dead tree edition.  It clocks in at 937 numbered pages so it’s a large heavy book, but Neil Stephenson is one on my hardcover authors,  one of a few I consider good enough to warrant buying the hardcover and keeping in the library.

It’s also the first dead tree edition book I’ve read since December 2007.

Half way through the book I switched to the Kindle version.

What a difference!

The Kindle is much lighter. I can increase the font as my eyes tire.

Pages flip with the push of a button.

My days of reading dead tree editions of books are pretty much over.
