Phlegmmy's Gunblogger Extravaganza – After Action Report

Breda’s Pig Candy.   If you haven’t tried it, mere words cannot describe.  It is the perfect food.

A sight to make Sarah Brady burst into tears: the kitchen counter at Phlegmmys where we all got a chance to fondle each other’s shootin’ iron. There were no duplicates in the lot.

Although all of the illustrious bloggers present were quite photogenic, there were enough who didn’t want photos posted online that I didn’t even bother taking any of people. If you want to see what they look like, then show up next time.

Worthies in attendance:

Phlegmmy our amazing hostess.
Ambulance Driver
Farmgirl
Old NFO
A Keyboard and a .45
Bayou Renaissance Man
Lawdog
HollyB
JPG
aepilot_Jim
Rabbit
Matt G
Blackfork
Dock

via Skype and Eee: Breda and Mike.

I hope I’m not leaving anyone out.

The concentration of awesome in Phlemmy’s place was amazing. Stories were told that can’t be repeated, jokes were told that shouldn’t be repeated.  Everyone had a great time, and Phlegmmy REALLY knows how to host a great party.  She’s made of 100% win.

And I confess to a fanboy moment.   I pulled into the parking lot behind AD, and when he got out of his truck, he said, “You’re Alan, right?”     OMG!

I can’t wait for the next one.

  1. Robert says:

Glad to meet you, though it was like meeting a bunch of old friends. Armed people who love freedom are like old family members you just haven’t seen in a while. Instant comfort level.
The Redhead and I hit Campisis for dinner and then Ho Foods. Got home safe and sound.

  2. So when is the next one? I will be sure to make arrangements to attend!

  3. alan says:

Don’t have a date, but hopefully not too long.

  4. SO glad you could attend, Alan. The party was definitely better for your presence, and Skypeing Breda & Mike was the cherry on top. Thanks so much for coming. Maybe we can pull another one together soon. I’d like that. I just need a little rest, for now! 😛

    Thanks, again!

  5. Old NFO says:

Alan, Great to finally put a ‘voice’ to the face! Thank you for your service too! It was a pleasure to meet you!

  6. Jay G. says:

If anybody’s looking for me, I’ll be over in the corner, green with envy at the fun the kewl kidz got to have…

  7. Dock says:

It was good times. I feel especially lucky to have attended, being such a new face to the 2A blogger world. It was very cool.

It all started for me about 3 months ago – NRAnews popped up on my browser, I started listening to Cam Edwards, I heard about Snowflakes in Hell and learned of the community… and decided to jump in.

It really didn’t take long to meet some great people.
