Another Day, Another Tornado Watch

Ah, Spring in Texas. We have a tornado watch for Denton County until 19:00

I’m not worried about tornados. I keep an eye on things and I have a weather radio, but those are sensible precautions. The odds of a tornado actually hitting me are pretty small. Much less than a hurricane in Florida or an earthquake in California.

The thing that does the most damage in Texas is hail, but that won’t kill you.

    didn’t it get a few folks at Mayfest many moons back?
    Beaned in the noggin by hunk o’ ice the size of sour citrus will dampen a day, for sure.
