Leaving the country

Well it seems like it anyway.

I’ve been spending some time in Louisiana for work, and I can always tell when I’m crossing the line into Texas. The roads get better and the speed limits go up.

It’s like being in a different country. The food isn’t bad though.

  1. Watch out for that cajun cookin’.

You’ll gain a few inches on that waistline mighty quick. And that translates into longer stage times when shooting competitively.

I’m craving me some crawfish boil.

  3. Old NFO says:

    Crawfish Etouffe!

I gained much when driving through Cajun Country with a sales job. I went from a mildly pudgy 180, up to 250 right quick. And some of the best food was what my customers gave me. “My wife made two, and I can barely eat one. . . You want the other?”
    Oh, HELL YES!
