Moral Equivalency Godwins itself

Oliver Stone says Hitler is misunderstood.

“Stalin, Hitler, Mao, McCarthy — these people have been vilified pretty thoroughly by history,” Stone told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Pasadena.

Whoa there hoss… How many people did McCarthy kill? That’s an an epic case of moral equivalency.

I guess standing up and saying there were communists in Hollywood (true) and the State Department (true) is EXACTLY the same as killing millions of people.

And there’s socialists in the White House now. Oh, well.

Three were vilified by History – deservedly – one was vilified by the Left and Hollywood, for their own reasons.

I don’t know about you, but I die a little bit inside whenever I see Jenny McCarthy try to act.

Had someone post this to me the other day:

“The McCarthy Trials rooted out only Joe McCarthy and Roy Cohn’s sense of entitlement for the nation to observe. Do you realize that none of the convictions in those trials were upheld and that McCarthy was censured by the senate?
Giant waste of taxpayer money and a lasting shame to the nation? I guess he’s right up there in the NeoCon pantheon.”

Yup, still vilifying for their own reasons.

Can’t stop the Vilification! Must continue! It’s in the Orders!
