I read about legislation in other states all the time. Tennessee is doing this, Georgia is doing that, California pounded another nail into it’s own coffin.
I am so happy that Texas has a legislature that only meets for a few months every two years. It’s a real pain when you want something passed like open carry, but DAMN is it good to not have to fight every other bit of stupid the rest of the time.
I’ll take that trade.
I would be ok with a situation wherein the Legislature could continue to meet every year… but they can only pass legislation every third year. The other two could only be spent repealing…
