Hank Johnson: DISCLOSE intended to keep Republicans from being elected.

From the same guy that thought Guam would tip over…

Hmmm… Let see.

Corporate miscreants like BP and Goldman Sachs?

BP:

A Center for Responsive politics report shows that BP and its employees gave more than $3.5 million to federal candidates over the past 20 years, with the largest chunk of their money going to president Barack Obama. “Donations come from a mix of employees and the company’s political action committees&mfash;$2.89 million flowed to campaigns from BP-related PACs and about $638,000 came from individuals.”

Oops.

Well how about Goldman Sachs, they’re bankers. They must be HUGE Republican donors.

Oh my. Goldman Sachs consistently donated more money to Democrats than Republicans.

In fact Goldman Sachs was the 2nd highest contributor of bundled donations to the Obama campaign in the 2008 election.

So it turns out the only accurate statement in Hank’s speech was that DISCLOSE is intended to keep Republicans from being elected.

But then, we already knew that.

So Wall Street, located in New York City, is predominantly left wing, and the same is true for BP, and British company? What a shocker!
