I’ve used a C-TAC for years and I like it a lot, but it’s not easy (for me) to put on/take off. It’s a put it on and wear it all day holster. That’s great when I can carry all day.
I also use an Infidel. It’s not as comfortable as the C-TAC but it has one huge advantage. It’s easy to remove and replace. When I have to go somewhere I can’t carry I remove the holster with the gun still in it and skip the unholster/reholster steps I’d have to do with the C-TAC.
It’s a lot harder to make an ND happen if the gun never leaves the holster.
I like that.
Which belt attachment gizmo do you use?
I use the standard clips. Even though the C-TAC is a shirt tucker design, I never tuck a shirt over it so I don’t care if the clips are visible.
I use a combo of the C-Clip in front, and the standard ‘over the belt’ clip in the rear for my CTAC. I have no problems putting it on or taking it off. It can be *slightly* tricky to put on, but nothing approaching any sort of frustration level.
On the Infidel, too? I’m asking because I’m curious about the on-off thing, and how the clips do in stability while still being fairly easy to get on and off the belt.
With regular thumb snap loops I just don’t have the kind of mighty fingers that can pop those snaps open and closed reliably and wind up having to unthread my belt.
I noticed that the Infidel had replaced the Gurkha (I use an older Gurkha for 3″ N-frames and was thinking about getting one for 4″ K-frames.)
Just the standard clip on the Infidel too. It doesn’t move at all on my 1.5 inch leather belt. Very stable.

I can even order some 1.5″ clips for my Gurkha, and if those rock out like I hope they will, order an Infidel to go with them. 8)
I use the Comp-tac C clips on any holster where they work, even though I rarely tucik. I find them just as secure, and easier to put on and take off.
