They aren’t called the stupid party for nothing

Lest you forget, establishment Republicans are every bit as bad as liberal Democrats.

Former Senate majority leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.), now a D.C. lobbyist, warned that a robust bloc of rabble-rousers spells further Senate dysfunction. “We don’t need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples,” Lott said in an interview. “As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them.”

Good luck with that Trent, you old dinosaur.

It appears that Republicans nationally are content to become what California Republicans have become – the permanent minority – AKA the Nomenklatura, the incumbent pseudo-opposition that lends credence to the Potemkin Government or the Congress of Permanent People’s Deputies. Democrats have always been at War with Republicans.
