July 20, 1969

Forty-one years ago today, I watched Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon on live TV.

That moment still fills me with awe and wonder.

Hopefully I’ll live to see men walk on the moon again.

But I’m not gonna hold my breath.

    But yeah, I won’t hold my breath, either. But ASM826 says it so well.

    And WV: BSMS – what got NASA to the point of not being able to go back to the moon …

    Heh, my parents hadn’t even met yet & I was 16+ years away from being born….

    My mom swears I looked at the moon that night; I don’t recall, as I was only 5 weeks old.
