Oh noes! The House Of Representatives may vote to censure Rangel today.
And he’s fighting it.
WHY?
A censure is nothing. Not even a slap on the wrist.
He’s over 80, been congresscritter forever and reads Playboy in the airplane.
If I was Rangel, I’d shut up and let them censure me.
Why should he care, his constituents obviously don’t.
It’s probably a “respect” thing. He values being respected and this is a “dis”.
Cause it’s an ’embarrassment’ to him… Any of us pulled that crap, we’d be in jail!!!
He’s fighting it because he realizes that he’s being singled out, and 99 other crooks aren’t being punished.
