National Internet ID

It’s back and it’s still a bad idea.

It’s “the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government” to centralize efforts toward creating an “identity ecosystem” for the Internet, White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt said.

The Internet already has an identity ecosystem. It doesn’t need one created by the people that brought you stunning successes like the TSA, IRS, SS or any other government suck and fail program.
