My first exposure to McCotter was a while back. You can’t beat this quote:
“The Democratic Party believes that you can take an imperfect health-care system and fix it by putting it under the most dysfunctional and broken entity in the United States today: It’s called the Federal Government.
“That proposition is insane.”
Contempt for Congress? Absolutely.
McCotter is good, but out numbered. He and his fellow Tea Party Types have discovered that the Good Old Boy Leadership of the Republitards won’t do what’s necessary to save this country, just keep on lining their cronies pockets so they can get the “Donations” to overide any Political Opposition. I see only 3 outcomes to this quagmire : A) The Tea Party Types get their Act together, dump the Republitards, and become a 3rd Party, blocking any progress by either of the Established Group of Hypocrites. B) The Constitutional Convention is called, and things get changed. It’s Numerically Possible at this time, but it take some balls on the side of some Rino Governors to make it happen. C).The Second American Revolution happens ( 3rd for some of you Johnny Rebs out there, I know). Ain’t no easy way out of this mess, so if there’s going to be some Fundamental Transformation going on, it’s time to transform it into something right, not wrong.
