Tax and Spend for 2012?

No one in the White House raised their hand to say that maybe announcing a tax and spend platform for the 2012 election at the deadline for filing taxes might not be a good idea?

Talk about out of touch.

    It’s rather shocking to see such naivete from someone I thought would know better.

    November 2012 is about a hundred political lifetimes away from April 2011.

    They know that they can announce this now and it will be utterly forgotten by 95% of the American public by November of this year, let alone next.

    A compliant media that will certainly let this story – and any resulting tax increases – die doesn’t hurt either.
