Whatever respect I had for Sarah Palin disappeared while watching that clip of her hunting caribou. Being a lousy shot is one thing, but I can’t take seriously the notion that she’s a real hunter when she asks if the rifle kicks, has her dad load the rifle, has no idea how to shoot off of a pack, and has her dad work the fucking bolt for her. I realize that reality TV shows are heavily edited, but anyone halfway familiar with a rifle would at least know how to load it and work the goddamn action.
She’s just another politician to me, I say the Republicans should run a Poptart Cat/Barry Goldwater’s corpse ticket in 2012, Obama’s going to win anyway, might as well .
I apologize for interjecting some defeatism during Palin’s hope, but the past two presidencies squandered a total of four years to actually do something about the economic crisis. When they should have cut spending abroad and the federal “work”-force at home, they handed out golden parachutes to fellow tax parasites, both in the finance industry and with unionized labor–either are basically run by government when you consider the unconstitutional federal legislation that created them. The corporatist coin is tails on both sides.
I can assure you that the first president that does something meaningful will go down as the most hated in history, if s/he is not assassinated before finishing the term. The chances that Palin–or any other candidate–will be that president are zero.
I hope she does run. Anything that will get the Commies foaming at the mouth is well worth it. Let them spend Political Capital trying to fight her off.
But the Republitards will probably put up that RINO Romney, and the Anointed One will have another 4 years ( or more) to Ruin the Republic.
