Consensual?

The Telegraph says Strauss-Kahn’s “…lawyer has already indicated he plans to argue that there was consent.”

  1. Robert says:

There’s only three possible rape defenses to begin with:

    1. Denial (Bitch lied)
    2. Mistaken identification (SODDI, or Some Other Dude Did It)
    3. Consent (Bitch wanted it).

  2. Gnarly Sheen says:

They were reporting this on the news the other day, and I swear to god they reported that his defense team was going to argue that “he was forced into consensual sex.”

    Wrap your head around that.

  3. Instinct says:

There’s one more you forgot to consider, Robert, there is still the “I have contributed so much to the world that I am entitled to do this.”

Otherwise known as “The Polanski Gambit”

  4. counsel says:

Well, who needs the courts then…. At least have enough logic to see people are accused, things look bad, and that something happened… In addition, it would be nice if everyone stopped jumping to conclusions and tried to let facts decide the case…

    1. when do 2 people ever have equal power?
    2. would you simply submit to a supervisor’s advance because they were your supervisor? If so, why?
    3. It has been known for all people to spin facts to tell a story… We may never know the truth…
    4. what? a maid can’t consent? or is it you assume you, a guest at a hotel, are superior to or have some power over the maid…?

    Wow…
