“Militarizing” the Police

Given the abysmal level of tactics and shooting skill demonstrated by the police, maybe they should take the time to copy more from the military than the fancy clothes and rifles.

Things like shot placement and accuracy.

Like not emptying your gun into a car on the street then standing around with a stupid look on your face wondering what just happened.

Like being accountable for your actions.

Or better yet, how about we just say BAD IDEA and go back to the Peelian principals. Or would that whole “ethical police force” thing be too hard?

True Story: My Father fought in the Hungarian Revolution. Before the Russians sent in the Tanks, most of the Hungarian Military had defected to the Revolution, and some of the more Freedom -Loving Politicians were trying to form a New Gov’t. But every AVO person (the Hungarian National Police) that could be found was hunted down and “removed”. James Mitchner wrote about some of this in his book “A Bridge at Adnau”.

Flash forward to the United States in the 21st Century. After seeing and reading about what the Cops are doing nowadays, if we have to have another Revolution ……

Sorry to all the Good LEOS out there, like my friend Chris, but if YOU don’t Clean Up Your Act….

I actually don’t mind them being bad shots and clueless Barney Fifes since with the “militarization” of the police, we’re the “enemy”.
