TSA Anti-Groping bill back on in Texas!

Governor Perry has added the anti-groping bill to the special session.

Gov. Rick Perry announced he had added legislation that would make it illegal for TSA agents to engage in “intrusive touching” at airports security checkpoints without probable cause to the list of items for the legislature to consider during the special session.

    Good! Hopefully it’ll go further than when New Hampshire attempted this.

    Well, I don’t know about you, but I can’t recall any cases of TSA agents being successfully prosecuted for all the touchy-feely. I see this as just another feel-good bit of legislation. Who’s to say that any of them can’t manufacture any excuse for probable cause, and then what? A new bill that says “No Bullshit Reasons”?
