ATF Acting Director Melson testified to Congress on July 4th.
He may have reveled evidence of the political motivation behind operation Fast and Furious.
The evidence we have gathered raises the disturbing possibility that the Justice Department not only allowed criminals to smuggle weapons but that taxpayer dollars from other agencies may have financed those engaging in such activities.
The cartels have plenty of money to buy all the guns they want. They get them from the Mexican government or the Chinese or any other arms dealing nation. They don’t have to come to the US and buy retail. More and more this is looking like a political operation, Obama’s Reichstag fire to give political cover for new gun control laws.
The Chinese will sell anything to anyone.

In fact, containers full of Norinco glock knock-offs have been smuggled into Australian ports …
So Melson says he was pressured and bypassed by his superiors in the DOJ, eh? Using Watergate as an example, it looks like we have gone past the guys who did the break in and have gone up to John Mitchell’s DOJ level. Next stop will be the White House Staffers who directed Holder, then comes the “Unindicted Co-Conspirator – in- Chief.”
