SOPA Shelved

The House has shelved SOPA. Unless they sneak it in some other way, that’s it for SOPA this year.

I guess someone finally heard the “This idiocy will break the Internet” message.

What they heard was “Are you going to be the guy who broke the Internet?”

    What about the senate’s version?

Perhaps Google, Facebook, Twitter and the Other Big Guys saying “Don’t, or we’ll hit the Off Switch” might have had something to do with it?

It was just a Scam by the same Assholes who want to have Perpetual Royalties to Other Peoples Property trying to maintain their Cash Flow. Too bad they thought their Cronies in Congress could pull it off.

It looks like PIP (the Senate’s version of SOPA) is still alive, though. Hopefully that will die soon, too.
