More guns are being stolen each year, with a significant number going missing because their owners failed to take proper security precautions, a new study reveals.

NO! The guns “go missing” because criminals steal them.

There is no other explanation necessary. A gun owner has no moral obligation to prevent someone from stealing a gun. Not only is it impossible, it’s wrong to put that onus on the victim of theft.

Leslie Paige, who represents watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste, says the government should withdraw the dollar bill from the market and force Americans to use the coins.

U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin was in the Bay Area touring a peninsula hospital. NBC Bay Area reporter Damian Trujillo asked her about the run on tablets and Dr. Benjamin said although she wasn’t aware of people stocking up, she did not think that would be an overreaction. She said it was right to be prepared.

If you are in the US and are worried about radiation from the Japanese Nuclear Power plants then you are an idiot. The Surgeon General who tells you that stocking up on iodine tablets is not an overreaction is the queen of idiots.
