Since I was on a project in Philadelphia, I couldn’t resist hopping over to Red Bank and Leonardo, NJ to see some of the sites from Kevin Smith’s “Clerks”. The Quick Stop is pretty much the same as it is in the move, and there was even a guy hanging out in the parking lot outside. I like to think he was a drug dealer, since it makes the place more authentic. I gave him five bucks to take a picture of me in front of the store. He wasn’t nearly as eloquent as Jay.
