Although we’ve not had as much rain back home the last few days, everything is still flooded or soggy.
This picture is from the latest newsletter from the Cottonwood Creek Marina. The marina parking lot is still flooded and you still have to wade through water to get to the temporary walkway extension. Since Lake Lewisville is a reservoir, not a flood control lake there are no flood gates to open. The only way the level will drop is through evaporation and cities’ water use.
