Yesterday an “unknown” caller left a voice mail claiming to be from a well known credit card company and told me I needed to call them back to verify a charge. I was immediately suspicious (OK, I’m suspicious of everything) because I’ve never had a caller-id blocked call from a bank or credit card company.
