I guess not. Learning doesn’t seem to be an inherent trait with the liberals.
And yesterday we learned that the Republicans aren’t the only stupid party when Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder announced they would seek to reinstate the AWB.
The Obama administration will seek to reinstate the assault weapons ban that expired in 2004 during the Bush administration, Attorney General Eric Holder said today.
NO, really? Sure didn’t see that coming did we.
Here’s the truly crazy part:
Holder said that putting the ban back in place would not only be a positive move by the United States, it would help cut down on the flow of guns going across the border into Mexico, which is struggling with heavy violence among drug cartels along the border.
So the feds are going to violate the civil rights of US citizens because another country is incapable of maintaining law and order within it’s own borders? That’s pretty damned weak, even for a gun grabbing liberal.
Needless to say this isn’t going to fly. We know better this time around and a ban of any kind is just unacceptable.
They need to do this NOW so that it won’t affect the mid-elections as new news. They feel like their medicine is big, with Obama, the Senate, the House.
They have been setting this up for quite a while. The BATFU has been releasing these reports of US arms in Mexico for quite a while, lying and insinuating that AKs , bazookas and grenades are being bought at gunshows and stores and being smuggled into Mexico.
They are going to go for it.
