It has a larger screen than the Kindle 2, 9.7 inch (diagonal) and it’s about $130 more expensive. Amazon’s DX, announced today, is an interesting addition to the Kindle family.
I won’t be getting one because I think the Kindle 2 is perfect for my needs but if I was a student and I could get textbooks in an ebook format I’d have one soonest.
At that size, why not get a netbook? You’d get Ubuntu geek-cred. And could ssh to it!
I’m really looking forward to PlasticLogic’s eReader.
