There isn't enough lipstick made for that pig.

You are AT&T.  Your competition has a better network, your customers hate you and you don’t actually want to improve your network because that would cost money. What do you do?

That’s right, you run a new ad campaign chock full of bullshit no one will believe.

You’ll still give us dropped calls, no tethering, ripoff expensive SMS, noisy as hell calls. (Srsly AT&T, it’s a digital signal connecting to a digital network. Where the hell does the noise come from?) Plus there’s the still too expensive voice and data plans, contract lock in and early termination fees.

A whole company built on “you can’t do that” suddenly wants me to believe anything is possible.

Sure.

I used to be on AT&T, but got tired of the poor reception. Remember that map? Yeah, I wasn’t in one of the blue areas. Switched to Verizon and have been pleased. I miss the SIM cards (which came in handy a time or two), but it sure is nice to be able to actually MAKE A PHONE CALL!

Meh, I’ve used a variety of services by different companies. They all suck in their own way. That’s not to say I like AT&T, but it works better than any other service where I live. I’ve learned that the best way to decide what company to go with is ask the people in the areas you spend the most time what works best and go from there.

I’m pretty sure that the Nyquist Rate will tell you all you need to know about AT&T’s so-called “capacity”.
