In the 20th Century, Communism was an existential threat to the United States. Communists infiltrated the US government at all levels, influenced Hollywood and popular culture and tried to change the culture of America to be more friendly to Communism with the long term goal of a communist America. Communist ideology taught that it was OK to lie, cheat and steal to further the cause of Communism.
In the 21st Century, Islam is an existential threat to the United States. Muslims are infiltrating the US government at all levels, influencing Hollywood and popular culture and trying to change the culture of America to be more friendly to Islam with the long term goal of an Islamic America. Islamic ideology says it is OK to lie, cheat and steal to further the cause of Islam.
It’s not Islam the religion that is the problem. It’s Islam the political and legal system that is the threat to the United States. Like Communism, Islam seeks to take over the world and doesn’t allow any other political/legal systems to exist. Unfortunately you can’t separate Islam the religion from Islam the political/legal system.
Under the guise of freedom of religion, radical Muslims are planning on erecting a victory mosque on the site of their greatest attack to date against America. Muslims know the true reason for the mosque and despite the assurances of useful idiots in the US, most Americans know the real reason too.

It isn’t under the guise of freedom of religion. It is private property and it is not on ground zero but two blocks away from it. While I generally agree with you on what you said here, they have rights to purchase. What most are trying to do is coerce the government in stopping it. To do so violates what America is about, further removing us from our core values. Which is what they want.
Those who are talking about fighting fire with fire, by putting up gay bars and strip clubs around the place are fighting the good fight. Making it not attractive is the proper way to deal with this. Government coercion is what we generally argue against.
I woud question whether Islam the religion and Islam the political/legal system are two seperate things. It’s Islam the religion that preaches that lying, cheating and stealing are okay in the name of Allah. It’s Islam the religion that preaches that dying and killing in the name of Allah are righteous. It’s Islam the religion that defined Mosques as those places that celebrate the victories over the heathens and the infidels.
