Portable DNA testing brought to you by your friendly Department of Homeland Security.
What could possibly go wrong?
I went to the future and all I got was the lousy dystopian government.
Over and over and over…
Cheap, portable, fast DNA testing is a good thing. The fact that it is being “brought to market” by DHS scares the feces out of me.
The fact that it’s being brought to market by the Feds means it’ll cost 20x what it should, will most certainly be inaccurate. and will infect 1 in 1000 it’s used on with AIDS or Ebola.
OK, maybe I’m exaggerating with the last part, but just barely.
I doubt you’re exaggerating too much. Remember the VA hospital dental clinic that infected all its patients with hepatitis?
