Stupid Government Tricks

Oregon Reservoir drained because someone peed in it.

I’m sure the fish in that reservoir aren’t peeing or pooping in it. I’m also sure the animals that live in the woods around the water never pee in it either. I have it on good authority that turtles pee in the lake too. ZOMG!!!!

    Turtles also love to poop in water. Even land-dwelling box turtles.

    Maybe he was a homeopathy believer. Thought the urine molecules would make all the other water molecules go bad. Or something.

    But David Shaff, an administrator at the Portland Water Bureau, defended the decision to empty the lake.

    “There are people who will say it’s an over reaction. I don’t think so. I think what you have to deal with here is the ‘yuck’ factor,” he said.

    “I can imagine how many people would be saying ‘I made orange juice with that water this morning.’ “Do you want to drink pee? Most people are going to be pretty damn squeamish about that.”

    He’s a typical liberal, making million dollar decisions based on “feelings” instead of reason.

    Six to eight ounces of urine diluted in eight million gallons of water is very probably totally undetectable by the most sensitive tests today.

    This twit flushed a $36,000-per-flush toilet because a dust mite peed in it. His career needs to get flushed with it.

    So, does anyone find it interesting that they seem to be saying water from the reservoir is sent on along untreated? You’d think there would be some kind of filtration and chemical treatment going on. Something’s wrong with this.

    The water in the reveor…reseov…in the big pond was already treated according to my local paper.
