The storm track shows Ike passing well to the east of DFW. Tyler will get hammered, and I expect power to be out in much of East Texas before the day is over.
UPDATE: Went out and cut down a dead tree in the front yard. I’d rather it come down now when I can control it. What fun.
UPDATE: A little rain, a little wind. Power is still on. I’ve seen spring thunderstorms that were worse.
