In the middle of the storm last might, my T1 died.
AT&T said “damaged equipment” needed to be repaired, which is telco speak for “we’re not gonna tell you what really happened, now shut up and quit bugging us.”
EVDO to the rescue. IRC and IM continued on the Eee netbook.
And the T1 was back up around 3:00.
So aside from nuclear war paranoia flashbacks* when the sirens went off and Interrupted Internet, a fairly typical Texas Spring thunderstorm.
*Yes Phlegmmy, I get that too.
