Beep. (new mail)
It’s from the NRA.
Spam about a car buying service.
WTF? Car buying service?
This is why I have problems with the NRA. Too often it seems like they’re more interested in extracting money from me than that gun thing they’re supposed to be worrying about.
They’re a single issue organization all right.
Unfortunately that issue seems to be money.
Not guns.
Would you like a glass of lovely NRA wine to help you relax?
I don’t know that they make money from the solicitations they send for services. I think they make money be agreeing to email/contact their members to tell them about their group services.
For instance, I bought life insurance through one of their programs because the rates were good. The folks we dealt had no idea we signed up through NRA. We even asked about NRA and they said they just get a quote from a broker then verify that it’s cost effective.
