Mr. President, Stop Right Now. Despite my wishes otherwise, you represent me and the rest of the citizens of the US.

Americans bow to no one.

Quit doing it.

    I don’t really have a problem with it this time. The Japanese bow as a sign of mutual respect, much like our handshake, so returning that isn’t the same as a subservient bow.

    It wasn’t a bow of mutual respect since the Japanese Emperor didn’t bow at all. Obama bent over so low it was virtually a kowtow.

    Let me reiterate: Obama wasn’t there as a person who can do whatever he wants. He was there as the President of the United States and the President does not bow.

    In that case, Alan, the bow was indeed uncalled for. Timmeehh, I’ve never believed that Obomination was an American ever since I heard of him. He’s our first Soviet Premier.
