Looks like Slate may have had a Dewey Beats Truman moment.
On Tuesday, in her home state, Sarah Palin’s favorite will probably get trounced. Joe Miller is widely expected to lose by a large margin to incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski in the Republican primary—an embarrassing defeat for the former governor, who has endorsed Miller, but also to Miller’s other major backer, the Tea Party Express.
Only not so much, Slate.

What gets me is that Guiterrez is trying to defend herself (and avoiding baked crow) by saying that even Miller’s campaign manager wasn’t feeling optimistic. Honey, that still doesn’t mean you can get away with “reporting” from the future. I know I didn’t go to as fancy a j-school as you probably did, but even *I* know you’re not supposed to predict outcomes unless you’re a PUNDIT.
