I wish my guidance counselor had told me about this one.
Missouri S&T offers a Masters in Explosives Engineering.
Missouri S&T now offers the nation’s only explosives engineering Masters. In addition to the Graduate certificate and minor, students are able to advance their career by obtaining specialized explosives training. The program continues to expand by adding upper-level courses each year and plans to hire an additional faculty member to accommodate the growing enrollment. Graduates in explosives engineering are afforded exclusive research opportunities in world-class facilities. The S&T Explosives Research Facility (ERF) currently serves as the university’s explosives research hub housing state-of-the-art technology and instrumentation. The ERF is also home to two blasting chambers in which graduates conduct cutting-edge explosives research.
I wonder how many lists your name gets put on when you get that degree?
Too bad it’s in MO… I’m kinda looking at grad school right now, but I don’t think I could handle the weather there.
Alan, it’s never too late to go back to school. This course is also on my short list of degrees/certificates I’d like to get. The coolness factor is nice and having the campus only 30 miles away helps a lot..
There is a summer camp for explosives too. I reported on this three years ago.
