Laws are for us. The elites just do whatever they want.
First lady Michelle Obama appears to have violated Illinois law — when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!
The drama began after Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.
After finishing at the machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.
She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.
“She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband’s agenda going,” Campbell said.
According to a pool reporter from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES at the scene, the conversation took place INSIDE the voting center, not far from the booths.
Of course the spin is that she couldn’t be expected to know it was illegal.
Really?
How often have we been told ignorance of the law is no excuse?
But more importantly why are idiots like this in charge of ANYTHING?
These people are not elite anything. They are self serving morons that couldn’t make it in private business so they cloak themselves in the mantle of “public service” and demand the accolades of accomplishment.
Fie on all of them. A boot in the ass is what they need.

Does it matter that she is a Harvard Law educated attorney, who was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois? Shouldn’t she as a LAWYER be familiar with Illinois LAW? I guess that’s just too much to expect of our FLOTUS
Oh, wait, she’s not a lawyer anymore – she voluntarily surrendered her license to practice law to the IL board of professional responsibility. Why would a lawyer do that?
Isn’t she a lawyer — married to a Constitutional scholar?
If these people couldn’t be expected to know, who should?
Being a Constitutional scholar would require knowing something about the Constitution.
I think they need to arrest her and charge her with a federal crime; right after they embarass her by pointing out how someone wasted a lot of money on her college education.
