They tried instituting that new rule, win by more than five = forfeit, at a kids league in Portland.
The day the rule was put in place, a winning soccer coach had his team of kids deliberately score six own-goals in as many minutes, resulting in a 0 to 6 score, and an immediate victory for his team.
The retards who made this feel-good decision reversed themselves the next day.
I dunno, I’ve read your Politico link several times, it sounds more like the “counselor” (their quotes) was for job loss more than electoral loss. A few (not many) of the more benevolent corporations that do major layoffs do the same. And since they were seemingly sent out by the Clerk’s Office or Human Resources, this probably happens, and has happened, every two years for some time, regardless of the losers.
Sorry if that doesn’t fit the narrative.

Wealth ain’t created in their fantasy land … it is always just lying around out in the open, like rocks, or dandelions, or it just exudes from poor people like wool on a sheep, and is then stolen by plutocrats.
That’s why the socialist fantasy is so seductive. If wealth is just lying around and no one really earns it then it SHOULD be reallocated evenly to everyone.
Fortunately socialist fantasy can’t trump reality no matter how many millions of people you kill trying.

Obviously the job loss resulted directly from the electoral loss! I only contended that the counseling was for the job loss part, not the election loss part.
