(Yeah, I know. Redundancy alert.)
Rep. Robert Brady, D-Pennsylvania says he will introduce a bill banning, “language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a Member of Congress or federal official.”
As for support for the bill, Brady said, “Why would you be against it?”
How about a little thing called the First Amendment there, dumb ass.
Of course the CNN headline says, “Shooting prompts legislation to protect lawmakers, officials”
Which shows you how clueless the editors at CNN are. Heck if it’s that easy let’s just pass a law that protects everyone. Then nothing bad would ever happen, right?
Did you ever see the South Park where they try to kick Harbucks out of town?
As for support for the bill, Brady said, “Why would you be against it?” sounds an awful lot like, “Vote YES on Prop 10. Or else you HATE children. You don’t HATE CHILDREN, do you?”

We’ve had this off and on, ever since John Adams was president. Yet it keeps going away. It’s just a stretch for Americans to live with restrictions on free speech.
Oh, and long live the King President Obama.
Huh. I could have sworn that the laws against murder, pointing a firearm at someone without just cause, and discharging a firearm inside city limits without just cause would protect “lawmakers” just as well as it protects everyone else in our country. Silly me.
And, as usual, Constitutionally-illiterate Congresspeople are Constitutionally-illiterate.

Didn’t they JUST read the Constitution on the floor of Congress? Apparently someone wasn’t paying attention…
“Heck if it’s that easy lets just pass a law that protects everyone. Then nothing bad would ever happen, right?”
Actually, I think that’s an excellent idea for a law to propose ….
“Heck if it’s that easy lets just pass a law that protects everyone. Then nothing bad would ever happen, right?”
I thought that was what gun bans were for?
More clueless moonbats.

– Malcolm Forbes
This is the antis’ version of “make the pie higher.”
