I disagree. There’s a lot of hype involved with blogs, but the hype is fading and many people are falling out of sight; their blogs unattended and gathering dust.
Blogs provide knowledge and entertainment. Just like any other endeavor, those that are good at it will remain those will be who people seek.
The glittery, ad full, memory robbing, script filled sites full of advertising will be just one more form of the internet that will go by the wayside.
