From The New York Times:
When Mrs. Pelosi was asked whether the vote — 244 to 188 without a single Republican’s approval — represented a failure on her part to advance President Obama’s desire for a broad bipartisan bill, she practically snapped:
“I didn’t come here to be partisan. I didn’t come here to be bipartisan. I came here, as did my colleagues, to be nonpartisan, to work for the American people, to do what is in their interest.
The idea that Representative Pelosi, Democrat, Speaker of the House is in any way non-partisan is ridiculous.
You’ll like my video on this posted at http://www.opiniontimes.com/pelosi-non-partisan-give-me-a-break/. I pulled out a slew of instances where Pelosi praised bipartisanship and then show her clear desire to destroy her opponents. Non-partisan? Bull!
Did they shut off the mike before she said “…whether they like it or not.”
Jesus, she thinks she’s been elected to make me eat my spinach…
You know what: she’s right.
Look at the way the repugs were, for 12 years in congress, 8 years in the White House, towards the Dems, and the country. The economy is shot.
In 2006, 2008, the Dems won, the repugs lost.
To fucking bad – for you.
Winston Churchill said “America will always do the right thing. They just sometimes do the wrong thing first.”
Pelosi is like the dose of bad tasting placebo medicine that will help us appreciate being healthy after we recover inspite of it.
Pelosi is good for one thing. Noooo…not that….she will forever be the low side of the standard range by which all future Speakers of the House will be judged.
