No, not Obama.
I guess Carter wasn’t feeling the love so he had to re-up his moonbat street cred by claiming that the US is more polarized now than during the Civil War.

I sure hope the designers of his public memorial / crypt have the foresight to install a goodly number of floor drains.
Dear God I never thought I would be defending Carter. But in a narrow sense he is correct. Obama was elected with 52% of the vote, a pretty much even split. Lincoln only got 40%. Therefore, as the 2008 election drew more to each side of political spectrum Obama was and is more polarizing. So much for definitions; as a matter of results, though, things are working along differently. It has been over a year and a half since the One took office and things aren’t going well, but at least the country has not literally split in two and started shooting.
Compare and Contrast Fidel Casto’s recent interview with Jimmy Carter’s. See which one made more sense. Then ask yourself this question: Who the Frak let Jimmy get loose from the Nursing Home again? Also be prepared for the Real Polarization: Those inside the Beltway vs. the rest of the Country. See who shoots first. Betcha it’ll be a bunch of Commies who HATE the idea of giving up Power when they lose an Election.
