Politicians always want to paint themselves as the victims of the worst of the worst possible attacks. “Why would anyone want to do this to little ol’ me?”
What they never realize is that they Aren’t. That. Important.
What I mean is, they think the whole world is against them, and them alone–and they never realize that there are hundreds and thousands of years of personal attacks that have gone on before them.
Why I yell, “OH, GET OFF YER HIGH HORSE! THIS IS THE REAL WORLD! DEAL WITH IT!”
