I normally avoid Denny’s but I might have to go try this.
Bacon makes a classic ice cream sundae even more awesome. We start with maple-flavored syrup, and a scoop of rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and then a generous sprinkle of our diced hickory-smoked bacon. Add another sweet layer of syrup and vanilla ice cream topped with even more bacon and a drizzle of syrup.
I don’t know about the maple syrup though. Pig Candy uses brown sugar and that works very well. Mo’s Bacon Bar is a great combination of bacon and chocolate. I think the combination of bacon and ice cream is probably good. That maple syrup though…
I guess I’ll just have to try it. I think there’s a Denny’s next to the hotel I’m staying at in Pittsburgh.
Ugh. If anyone could manage to ruin something with Bacon it’d be Denny’s.

Don’t you normally put maple syrup on your bacon?
I always order pancake syrup with bacon so I can drown it in the sugary goodness. So they have that taste combo right, at least.
