GOP Debate: Why bother?

A collection of wash ups and second stringers.

If this is the best the GOP can do then they don’t deserve to win.

  1. Old NFO says:

To my way of thinking, Cain is the best of the bunch…

  2. Well, Cain seems to be fine with state-level gun control:

Now, if he was willing to repeal the NFA, GCA, Hughes Amendment to FOPA and disband the BATFE (or make them the BAT), then that would be a start. And he’s not vying for a seat on SCOTUS, so his position on it, from that rather brief statement, may not matter much.

However, it would put the kibosh on National Reciprocity through Fair Faith and Credit, and maybe a few future legislative efforts.

But as a gun owner, I wouldn’t support him without some clarification. And what better way than Codrea’s questionnaire.

  3. But, yeah, Cain is probably the best of the current bunch. 🙂

  4. Bubblehead Les says:

16+ months to the Presidential Election. Think of it like the first day of a Dog Show. They’re still sorting out the Best of Breeds. Long way to go until the Big Night.

  5. mike w. says:

Meh. I didn’t bother to watch.

Now, if the candidates had to go through some type of “American Gladiators” course I’d watch that.

  6. Timmeehh says:

I don’t think any of the GOP are stingers, but if you meant second stringers then yeah.

  7. alan says:

I swear there was an r there yesterday. 😀

  8. Kristopher says:

    This isn’t a Republican debate.

This is CNN’s dog and pony show for second-stringers they wish the Republican Party would be dumb enough to nominate.

Leftist Concern Trolling. They will tell us what we are doing wrong, because they really care for us poor redneck retards.

  9. Cormac says:

I’m really fed up with that “I support the 10th, but…”

    THERE IS NO “BUT”
    THERE CANNOT BE A “BUT”
    It’s “yes” or “no”

…I’m getting “Homer Simpson without beer or t.v.” angry…
