Strapping a night vision scope onto an iThingy? Because nothing says covert like your face lit up from the screen of an iPad.

Or using it on your rifle? Because a relatively fragile piece of consumer electronics is EXACTLY what you want to rely on in combat, right?

  2. There may be a market for a hardened iPod Touch.

    A lot of ballistic aps are out there, which explains the railmount holders that are starting to appear.

    Maybe a Droid manufacturer can take this up, if Apple is to Politically Correct to do this?
