Waffle Pizza

You know what makes a good pizza substrate?   Eggo Waffles.

Yep, regular old Eggo waffles.

Toast them until they’re nice and golden brown.  You want them a little crispy so they’ll withstand the sauce.

Slather on the sauce.  Here’s where it gets cool because the sauce fills in the holes in the waffle and you always have enough sauce in every bite.

Top with whatever you want.  I used sausage and cheese.

Bake at 450 for 5 minutes or so, until the cheese melts.

Start to finish in less than 15 minutes.

It is! Make more than you think you’ll eat. You’ll kick yourself for not making enough up front.
